Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Advanced Tactical Communication Group B.V. collects, why, on what legal basis, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is Advanced Tactical Communication Group B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands.
- Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 42122319
- Email: info@atcgtraining.com
We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer, so privacy questions are handled directly by us at the address above.
What we collect and why
We only collect what we actually need. Most of it is data you type into a form yourself. The table below sets out every purpose, the legal basis for it, and how long the data is kept.
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry and scoping a training programme for your agency | Name, agency, role, email, phone, programme of interest, team size, timeframe, budget range, location, and whatever you write in your message | Art. 6(1)(b): steps taken at your request before entering into a contract | 12 months from our last contact if it does not lead to an engagement |
| Delivering a training engagement and administering it | Contact and agency details, scheduling and logistics, invoicing details | Art. 6(1)(b): performance of our contract with you | Duration of the engagement, then archived |
| Meeting our accounting and tax obligations | Invoices and the transaction records behind them | Art. 6(1)(c): a legal obligation we are subject to | 7 years, the retention period Dutch tax law requires (art. 52 AWR) |
| Keeping this website available and protecting it from abuse | Technical request data including IP address, recorded by our hosting provider | Art. 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in a working, non abused website | Around 30 days in hosting logs |
| Understanding how the website is used, so we can improve it | Page views, referring site, approximate country, device type | Art. 6(1)(a): your consent, given through the cookie banner | Aggregated statistics only; your consent record is kept until renewed plus 1 year |
Once a retention period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised. Nothing on this site asks for special category data such as health or criminal record information, and we ask that you do not include any in a form message.
Do you have to provide it
No. Providing your details is entirely voluntary. Name, agency and email are marked as required on our forms only because we cannot sensibly answer an enquiry without them. If you would rather not use a form, email us instead.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We use a small number of service providers who process data strictly on our instructions:
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify | Website hosting and delivery | United States |
| Resend | Delivering website form submissions to our inbox | European Union (Ireland) |
| Microsoft 365 | Our business email | European Union |
| Cloudflare | Website analytics, only if you accept the analytics category | United States |
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Transfers outside the EEA
Two of our providers, Netlify and Cloudflare, are based in the United States, so hosting and analytics involve a transfer of data outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses otherwise. You can ask us for details of the safeguards in place.
Analytics never runs unless you accept it. If you refuse, no analytics data about you leaves your browser at all. See our cookie policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data erased where there is no continuing basis to keep it
- Restrict how we process your data while a question about it is resolved
- Receive the data you gave us in a portable, machine readable format
- Object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect processing already carried out
To exercise any of these, email info@atcgtraining.com. We respond within one month. There is no charge, and we will not ask you to justify the request. To change your cookie choice, use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
Automated decisions and profiling
We do not make any decision about you by automated means, and we do not profile you. Enquiries are read and answered by a person.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy. Form submissions are transmitted to our inbox over encrypted connections, and access to enquiry data is limited to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take the measures appropriate to the limited data we hold.
Children
This site is aimed at agencies and professionals. We do not direct it at children and do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page, and where the change affects cookies or tracking you will be asked for your choice again.
